Spark Plugs

Have your spark plugs and wires changed. This will immediately improve your vehicles engine performance. This is a simple fix that you can have your local licensed mechanic do in about and hour.

Use Synthetic Oil

If you didn’t already know synthetic oil is recommended for better performing vehicles. It will give your vehicle the the lowest friction and most protection and great for both diesel and gasoline engines. Plus it’s cleaner than the standard oil with better lubrication, and that’s because it will break down at a much slower rate. It’s surly worth the upgrade and doesn’t cost much more.

Keep Your Car Clean

Clean out the car. No need for extra stuff your not using or shouldn’t be there. Be sure to clean out the trunk, back seats, front area and remove all unnecessary items. Especially the heaver items or tools and equipment that may be weighing down your car. The more weight your vehicle is caring the harder the engine has to work, which means the more flue it uses as well. Remove all of the unneeded weight and increase the miles per gallon. 

Additives

You can reduce your coolant temperatures as much as 30 degrees Fahrenheit by adding one of several types of additives to your vehicle coolant reservoir. These additives can also help against corrosion and rust setting in. The first time you add it to your vehicles antifreeze, you will notice it instantly improves heat transfer. This is very inexpensive to do.
